Book proposals should include the following materials:

• A description of the book, its intended audience, and its relation to competing works.
• A table of contents with an estimate of page length. 
• A copy of the author's CV. 
• An estimate of when the manuscript will be finished.
• A sample of the book's content, if available.

• If the work is a translation, the sample should be about ten pages of polished material.
• If it is a new work of scholarship, the sample should be one chapter.
• If it is an anthology or will incorporate the work of others, we will need to know the publisher and date of publication of each work to be included.
