About the Author:

Henry V. Bender is the Elizabeth Blossom Chair of Humanities Emeritus, and the Chair of Classical Languages Emeritus at The Hill School. He is an adjunct faculty member at St. Joseph's University and has taught at Villanova University and the College of the Holy Cross.
