Manuscript proposals should include the following materials:

• A description of the book, its intended audience, and its competition.

• A table of contents with an estimate of page length.

• A copy of the author's CV.

• An estimate of when the manuscript will be finished.

• A sample of the book's content, if available. If the work is a translation, the sample should be about ten pages of polished material. If it is a new work of scholarship, the sample should be one chapter. If it is an anthology or will incorporate the work of others, we will need to know the publisher and date of publication of each work to be included.
