Reprint Permissions Requests

We will be happy to consider your request to reprint Hackett material in another publication. Please send your request via mail, fax, or e-mail using the contact information listed at the bottom of this page. Please allow from 2 to 6 weeks to receive a response. The following information is necessary in order to process your request:

Information Regarding the Hackett Material You Wish to Reprint:

• Complete Hackett title and author information, including names of author, editor/translator, and contributor (if using a chapter from a collection)
• Copyright year and edition number
• Specific chapter number(s) and page number(s) or line number(s) of the requested material. Enclose a copy of the material as it appears in the Hackett book if a combination of short excerpts instead of full pages is being used.

Information Regarding Your Forthcoming Publication:

• Complete title and author/editor information
• Publisher
• Anticipated date of publication
• Binding (hardcover, softcover, or both)
• Anticipated list price
• Edition (text, trade, or both; volume number)
• Anticipated number of pages
• Media formats requested (print, electronic, etc.)
• Languages
• Sales territory
• Number of copies of your publication for which you request permission (i.e., maximum anticipated life-of-edition sales)
• Any other information that may be helpful to us in evaluating your request (e.g., intended audience)
