A note regarding answer keys:

No answer key (electronic or print) has been prepared specifically for Book 1 of the Third Edition.

Though in the Third Edition grammar explanations from the Second Edition of Book 1 were expanded, some sentences were added (e.g., to the “Translate” sections), and some sentences were re-written and reorganized, most of the Second Edition Answer Key remains useable for the Third Edition. An electronic version (pdf only) of the Second Edition Answer Key is available to qualified instructors and independent learners. Click here to request the Answer Key.
